The days of managing short-term projects are being replaced by days of developing long-lived, value-creating products. Enduring products require long-lived, nearly permanent teams who solve customer problems supported by nimble, adaptive organizations and leaders. In this session we’ll discuss how organizations can adapt to this paradigm shift as well as keys for pursuing value over specifications (outcomes over outputs). We’ll also discuss keys for effective product ownership, which may include customer interviews, prioritization techniques, story mapping, stakeholder management and redirecting. Learn the skills needed by product owners to keep your product relevant in this ever-changing, demanding world.
