Duane has taken a leadership role in a number of cross-campus technology and business initiatives, not the least of which was UNM’s Banner enterprise resource planning system implementation from 2002 to 2008. In his broad 20+ years at the University, Duane has also served as Associate Controller for Financial Services, Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Director of Enterprise Applications for Information Technologies.  Duane is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and serves as a professional faculty member at the UNM Anderson School of Management, teaching information systems foundations to upper-level, undergraduate business students. Duane's presentation will explore how we are breaking down silos and leveraging people, process and technology at an organization founded in 1889. Through reinventing and recreating our IT business model, we will forge a new position for UNM, both in our delivery of service to the UNM campus and surrounding community, and in preparing our students with the new, high-demand digital skills they need to be successful.  We will focus on several project-oriented initiatives and strategies that are reinventing and reenergizing our community through the power of collaboration.  http://cio.unm.edu/; https://www.linkedin.com/in/duane-arruti-ba6b5230/
