Many PMs dream of working for themselves or continuing to work part time in retirement. This presentation will identify questions to answer to determine if you really want to continue to work into retirement. It will identify actions to take now to prepare and then describe what you should do when you retire to begin that retirement PM career.
Leon Spackman is an instructor/consultant/contractor and has many years of experience in process improvement and project management. Leon is a certified PMP and an experienced PM leading projects in healthcare, government and Lean Six Sigma process improvement. He has taught project management for the local PMI chapter for over three years. Leon is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has implemented process improvement and reengineering efforts in government and commercial settings. Leon has been retired for three years and has his own consulting company, Spackman Consulting LLC.
