Creating the New Mexico COVID-19 Emergency Supply Collaborative

Strategic

The speaker, Gabe Mounce, will discuss the unique and unusual way in which many seemingly disparate organization, government agencies, and individual actors came together to get badly needed PPE into the hands of healthcare providers across the state of New Mexico.

Mr. Mounce directs the Space Force Accelerator Program for the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) in New Mexico.  In this capacity, he oversees start-up accelerators in Albuquerque and
Colorado Springs focused on connecting the entrepreneurial start-up community to the US Air Force Space enterprise.  He is also the Technology Commercialization Lead where he oversees all
aspects of technology transfer, community engagement & city, state, & congressional interactions for Directed Energy and Space Vehicle technology.  Mr. Mounce recently established the New
Mexico COVID-19 Emergency Supply Collaborative bringing together government, non-profit and private sector organizations from across the state to provide Personal Protective Equipment to
Healthcare Providers in need due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
