The Responsibility of Project Management in a Time of Volatility, Uncertainty, Confusion, and Ambiguity

Last month, the Breakfast Meeting explored the state of our work environment, business, and many other components that may drive volatility, uncertainty, confusion and ambiguity. This month we discuss the question, ‘What are we as Project Managers and Leaders to do?’

PMI and the PMBOK have some say in this. Experts throughout history have given us guidance. In the end, though, it has a lot to do with our understanding of how we as humans can use our moral compass and commitment to personal and business excellence to steer our course through our lives and work.

Join Tim Jerome on July 9th to talk about a Project Manager’s responsibility is in gaining solid ground to create an environment of safety, autonomy, and fulfillment in such a world. Peter Drucker, a bit of historical context, and even some Code of Ethics and PMI’s perspective to give us context and direction in leading ourselves, our work, and our community into a future that may not be too bad.

Tim(othy) Jerome, PMP MBA has been teaching and researching Project Management for over a decade and a half and brings to this discussion ‘good and necessary’ implementation of the set of skills we call the PM Framework. He has touched the lives of thousands, and continues to lecture, teach, and impact the PM community, both locally and Internationally.
