Communication is a critical skill to develop and enhance as a leader. You will walk away with the fundamental skills that promote work relationships and create team engagement.

​Presentation Objectives:

Review importance of active listening in the workplace (e.g., trust, productivity, conflict resolution, work relationships, acceptance, business outcomes as a result of improved engagement) 

Identify the 3 Levels of Listening. 

Learn (and practice) practical skills and strategies to improve active listening (e.g., attitude, attention, adjust, non-verbal behaviors, mindfulness and focus, interrupting, ensuring understanding, empathy, and delivering feedback).

Crystal Robertson is a professional coach that helps leaders step out of overwhelm to regain energy, focus, and inspiration. Crystal holds a Master of Applied Industrial/Organizational Psychology degree from Colorado State University and is a Certified Co-Active Professional Coach and Associate Certified Coach, accredited through the International Coaching Federation. She is certified as a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt with expertise in change management and process improvement. Crystal is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology (SIOP).Based in Durango, Colorado, Crystal has more than 15 years of experience working in the healthcare industry. For fun, Crystal enjoys paddle boarding, going to music festivals, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
