PDU'S Across the Time Zones: What we can learn about Project Management from a honeybee colony
Starts at 6pm MST - What we can learn about Project Management from a honeybee colony
Presented by Leon Spackman, MS, PMP, LSSMBB, Beekeeper | Hosted by PMIRGC
Honeybees are amazing insects. A hive (made up of a queen, drones, and worker bees) is a smooth running organization to accomplish the task of increasing the colony and storying honey and pollen for the winter. The Hive has many characteristics that apply to Project Management including well defined roles, precision, dedication to the cause, and outstanding communication. If a PM can set up his project team with the Hive characteristics, projects will be more successful.
